Those who have reached third trimester will have a low blood pressure and swelling of the ankles, hands, take place. During this last stage of pregnancy, stretch marks appear on the abdomen, breast, thighs, and buttocks. While the dry, itchy skin persist the woman’s libido may tend to decrease. Toward the later weeks of the pregnancy (approximately the 38th week), a pelvic examination is performed to determine the dilation of the cervix.
During the third trimester, the mothers often get anxious about the different movement of the child. The head usually turns downward during the last couple of weeks of pregnancy.
